Two players binned as melee almost spills into crowd

A melee almost spilled out into the crowd during the Roosters’ NRLW clash with the Titans with two players sin binned after a fiery affair.
With the Titans winning 20-0 in the second half, the Tri-colours frustrations were clear when winger Jayme Fressard threw the ball at Titans centre Jaime Chapman.
Both sides came together aggressively before Titans second-rower Shaylee Bent ran in from a long distance to push Fressard.

Titans prop Jessika Elliston was then taken on by two Roosters players with the exchange spilling out near the crowd.

“It’s getting a little out of hand actually, the crowd (there’s a) little danger. That’s that 30 degree heat, getting them a little restless,” commentator Mat Thompson said on Nine.
“They’ve just picked away the Titans, and just got under the Roosters skin,” Brad Fittler added.

Replays then showed there wasn’t much agitation from Chapman at the start.
“Not much happened … she’s taking on a giraffe as well,” Fittler said.
Bent was then first to be sin binned for running in before Fressard was given her marching orders.
The Roosters winger put her hands in the air and blew a kiss to the crowd on her way off the field.
The Titans finished 26-6 winners.
